Product description

The Baader methane band filter for imaging astronomical objects (especially planets) is only for use with webcams and CCD cameras. Visual observing is not possible, as the eye is not sensitive this spectral range.

Prerequisites for successful use of the filter:

  • IR-sensitive astronomy CCD camera and at least 5" of aperture
  • IR-sensitive webcam and at least 8" of aperture
